Connect with your Body and Breathe

The aim of this session is to strengthen the connection you have with your body and transform any negativity or criticism you may have towards your body  into gratitude and respect. Mother Earth and any Earth spirits who wish to be present will be invited to watch over this session and support the healing process.

During the session we will move (these are no dance moves, just hanging, shaking and swinging so that we may loosen our bodies and anchor ourselves in the NOW); we will meditate; we will speak to our bodies, experience the power of touch and breathe deeply for transformation. We will use the breath to free us from the body shame constraints and to unleash the body’s innate intelligence to run itself without the controls of the mind. We will show our bodies love and smile at our organs. We will fall deeper into our bodies and allow ourselves to be.

Who is this session for?

This session is for anyone and everyone. We live in a technological age and the increased visual stimulation and information overload we are exposed to every day is causing an imbalance between our mind and our body. This session is aimed to bridge part of that gap and rebalance the relationship between mind and body.

For the sake of listing some of the benefits of this session, I am going to list below who this session would be beneficial for:

  • for anyone who spends too much time listening to their mind or spends too much time in front of the TV or on their computer and not enough time paying attention to their body.
  • for anyone who always tries to change their body shape or weight because they can never be at peace with what they look like (this applies to those who harbour feelings of shame towards their bodies)
  • for anyone who feels they need to show their body some care and attention because you are always busy with “making money” for example and you forget how good it feels to take a long, relaxing bath.
  • for all those who don’t move enough or those who are too obsessed with moving/exercising – remember we are here on Earth to learn balance and not lean on any one side.
  • for anyone who takes their body for granted and have no respect for it – when you consider all other tasks or actions or people more important than yourself or your body.
  • for those who want to improve their relationship with food (for example slow down when you eat, eat mindfully and with enjoyment rather than eating to finish and other aspects of eating).
  • for those who self-sabotage.
  • for anyone who wants to deepen their connection to the Earth Mother and anything Earth related.
  • if you are in need of deeper root chakra healing and want to become more grounded – to strengthen the feelings of safety and security you have.
  • if you want to shut down the “flight or fight response” and relax deeply.

I  look forward to diving deep into the wonders of our bodies with those who feel the calling.

Bring just a bottle of water.

Wear super comfortable clothing and try to avoid eating for at least 3 h before the session.
